The City of Plano
In the 1970s, Plano welcomed newcomers with open arms, which resulted in Plano being one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas and the U.S. Through this growth, Plano has become famous for more family parks than any other city in the metroplex. Today, Plano looks and feels much different from the city of just a generation ago, but the growth of the city and the nature of its spirit can be traced back to those first settlers who came to the area 150 years ago.
